Geeks without Borders saddle up with the Black Rider

Heard of Doctors Without Borders?

+) Geeks Without Borders (or GWOBorg) is an international coalition of passionate problem solvers working together to assist people whose survival is threatened by lack of access to technology or communications due to violence, neglect, or catastrophe.  They’ll officially launch on October 10, 2010 at 10:10am P.S.T.

In the weeks leading up to 101010, they’re on an international tour inviting geeks, hackers, coders, artists, musicians, filmmakers, visionaries, humanitarian and creative types everywhere to join the GWOBorg Movement.  It’s a digital call to arms, and we hope you’ll join us too.

It is Written

When GWOBorg came a-knockin’, having found a song I’d recorded with the Cloud Kollektiv some years ago, saying it summed up what they were about, we were all too happy to donate it to their amazing cause.  ‘It is Written’ is now on GWOBorg’s promotional material.

Watch part 1 of GWOBorg’s tour from Cali to the Midwest set to ‘It is Written’.

Think you might want to join in on making a difference?  Then get dialled in on The Digital Call to Arms.
